Our Story

Welcome to Eleni’s House of Treats! My name is Eleni Bitziou, born and raised in Greece but lived in the UK for 22 years prior to moving to the Netherlands in 2019. I founded my own home-baking business in early 2022 as I have always been passionate about baking delicious treats and have been doing so for many years for family and friends.

I always wanted to start my own business doing something I really loved. As a stay at home mum raising two young kids I wanted to channel my knowledge and skills into something I was really passionate about.

My background is in Science with a Bachelor , Master and PhD in Chemistry so you can say I have made my kitchen a laboratory for synthesizing and creating bespoke cakes for my clients. Everything I do is carefully planned and thought through and I believe that shows in my work and final results. I use only fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch paying great attention to details. That’s why my cakes taste delicious and look the part.
